Comparison of Abacus &Vedic Maths

Mathematics plays a very important role for human evolution. We can see math in every sphere of life. Mathematical knowledge is must for everyone to survive. Even we can take most of the decisions of our life by calculating every aspects of profit or loss by applying mathematical rules. Comparison,pattern recognition. All these are included in mathematics to calculate advantages in quantified mode. In this computerized world generally kids don’t use their mental skill to solve any problem. It is not good for their development.

If we want to compare Abacus and Vedic Maths then first of all we have to know about their definition. Abacus is the most ancient tool used for the purpose of calculations. For calculating purposes it is one of the best tool. It is a manual aid to calculating that consists of beads or disks that can be moved up & down on a series of sticks or strings within a wooden frame. It is best for the age groups of 4-14 years .

Studying of Vedic Math is better for the higher classes. Vedic Math relies on mathematical identities to do calculations. It helps child to understand math by adopting different sutras. But it strongly recommended for senior students.

So both techniques are good to equip child to deal math in a more effective way. Everyone should choose any teaching practice according to the age group of their kids.
